Feng Yaoxiang, spokesman of China Council for the promotion of international trade and Minister of trade and investment promotion department, said at the regular news conference in July on August 29 that since the regional comprehensive economic partnership agreement (RCEP) came into effect on January 1 this year, the trade promotion system has continued to strengthen its promotion and implementation and achieved positive results. In the first half of the year, the total amount of RCEP certificate of origin issued by the trade promotion system reached US $2.732 billion, accounting for 23.44% of the amount of RCEP certificates applied by Chinese foreign trade enterprises.
